Questions people ask us
How deep will my borehole be?
It depends on the rock and where the water sits on your property. The site survey gives you an expected depth before drilling starts, so your quote is based on your ground, not an average.
Do I need permission to drill a borehole?
Using borehole water for your household is generally allowed, but some municipalities ask you to register the borehole. We'll tell you what applies where you live.
Will my gate, fence and cameras work during load shedding?
Yes, when they're fitted with battery backup. We size the batteries for how long you need them to run, and we can add backup to systems you already have.
Can I watch my cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up the app on your phone before we leave, so you can see live footage and play back recordings from anywhere.
Does my electric fence need a certificate?
Yes. Any electric fence installed, changed or moved since October 2012, and any property being sold, needs an electric fence system certificate of compliance. Ask us and we'll help you get yours.
Do you repair systems someone else installed?
Yes. We repair gate and garage motors, electric fences, CCTV systems and borehole pumps, whoever put them in.
